You must be dedicated in supporting children and young people in our care. Job Title – Children’s Senior Residential Support Worker Minimum of one year experience working in an OFSTED regulated Children’s Home Job Purpose To work as part of the team in the provision of care and support services with behaviours that may challenge; which aims to maximise the potential of individuals in line with ordinary life principles. As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will also need to be proactive in completing regular supervisions with staff and set a leading example of good practice. Skills/ Abilities Required - Assist the Managers in the implementation of the philosophies and policies of the organisation. - Assist the Managers in ensuring that each young person has their needs met through effective assessment and care planning. - Review and monitor care plans. /contribute to review reports as directed - Ability to demonstrate commitment to the staff teams, children, and the service in order to be part of a team that delivers high quality outcomes - A proven ability to work on own initiative and to work as part of a team. - Ability to lead and manage teams and complete To encourage and support children to make links within the community, and to expand their social network · To attend and contribute to weekly house meetings with children · To be able to work with groups of children in a ‘domestic’ setting to ensure that their needs are met collectively and individually · To hold regular supervisions with staff and be proactive in ensuring that staff are following good practice with the young people/ children within our care · To be competent in completing and evidencing daily records, key work sessions, incident reports and other relevant Job Title – Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Lancashire)

Job Type: Full time, permanent contract, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm The Role: We have an exciting and unique opportunity for the role of Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our team here at Associated Wellbeing to oversee the psychological needs of children in our homes. It is an exciting time to join Associated Wellbeing as we are an ever-growing company who is expanding its portfolio of residential homes for children, which in turn brings new and exciting opportunities for our workforce. We work with children aged 8 - 17 who have complex trauma, and/or additional social, emotional and mental health needs. Our referrals come from various sources, predominantly Children's Social Care and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. The Clinical Psychologist will play a part in identifying, providing and promoting appropriate means of support to the clinical team. Our ideal candidate: •Post-graduate doctoral level training (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) in clinical psychology, or counselling psychology, as accredited by the BPS. •Training should include specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuro-psychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. •HCPC Registration as Practitioner Psychologist: Clinical Psychologist. •Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity around mental health concerns across the full range of care settings including outpatient, community, primary care, in-patient and residential care settings including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse. •Experience of delivering evidence-based treatment using a range of modalities in a number of cultural contexts. •Experience of teaching, training and / or supervision. •Supervised experience of evidence-based treatment in relation to children with mental health concerns. •Empathetic to people and kind •Good communication skills •A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference •Honesty and integrity •Kind, caring and compassionate Key responsibilities: •To join the multi-disciplinary Service in the delivery of mental health care to children and young people and their families, including involvement in the multi-disciplinary assessment pathway. •To manage a small team of DBT therapists. •To provide specialist psychological and / or mental health input to children and young people and their families/carers. •To provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapy. •To offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues from all disciplines and to individuals external to us working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures. •To support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other professionals and to offer supervision as agreed per job plan. Job Title – Lead Nurse and Deputy Manager, The Lighthouse (Darwen)

We’re thrilled to announce a brand new and rare opening for the unique position of a Deputy Manager at The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is a 4 bedded child and adolescent mental health unit based in Darwen, Lancashire. The service is an independent hospital delivered by Associated Wellbeing. The service aims to provide step-down from child and adolescent mental health inpatient units. The Lighthouse is in a privileged position to have its own inhouse multi-disciplinary team made up of Nurses, Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist and Registered Social Worker, these are professionals you would work closely with within the role as Clinical Lead.
